Sites redesigned to add new technology, functionality and new look and feel

(Winston-Salem, NC) – Stratapult, a leading provider of web-enabled business solutions announced today the launch of new eCommerce Web sites for Dewey's Bakery (www.deweys.com) and the Moravian Cookie Shop (www.moraviancookie.com), premier providers of baked goods in Winston-Salem since 1930 and 1938, respectively. Stratapult has maintained a long-term relationship with Dewey's Bakery since 1998 when their site first launched.

The new site provides access to the traditional Dewey's baked goods such as butter sugar cake, Moravian cookies, coffee cakes and lovefeast buns. The Moravian Cookie Shop site features paper thin Moravian cookies, cheese straws and shortbread straws.

The new sites are more intuitive and engaging to the customer and are customized to meet their shopping needs. "We enjoyed the challenge of providing the best possible customer shopping experience while reflecting the warmth and heritage of these Winston-Salem institutions," says David Caudle, Manager of Creative Services for Stratapult.  "The common architecture used to build both Web sites is clean and intuitive, yet each has its own distinct look and feel – they really are nice compliments."

Both sites are built on Microsoft Commerce Server / .NET technology to create a dependable and scalable development foundation to accommodate Dewey's and the Moravian Cookie Shop's long-term eCommerce goals.
