Launch includes version two of Build Your Own Coordinates program and zoom view technology

Hanes|Outer Banks, located in Winston Salem, NC, unveiled a significant brand change for its Outer Banks line to reflect more upscale, lifestyle oriented positioning. Changes include a new logo, a 2004 catalogue to reflect this new positioning, inclusion of the new Outer Banks 'Reserve' line and corresponding digital branding.

"We challenged Stratapult to execute significant web development initiatives to be consistent with the brand strategy in place for 2004," said Deborah Forrest, Internet Development Assistant Manager at Hanes | Outer Banks.  "We are very pleased with the outcome of the 7th Generation of the Outer Banks Flagship site."

With this launch also comes the next generation of the popular Build Your Own Coordinates Program (BYOCP). Stratapult conducted user surveys to obtain feedback on the previous version and enhancements were made accordingly. The new BYOCP includes animated user instructions to provide an improved, more intuitive user experience.   In addition, all garment colors can be used in personalizing a coordinates program, and users can now email their coordinates selections to customers and co-workers. A CD of this program is included with every  2004 catalogue that is mailed or delivered.

Zoom-view technology is another added feature of this updated site. Users will have the ability to view garments up close. This will showcase the quality of fabric and detail of the garment.
