Automated data transmission and communication improves efficiency and reduces operational costs
(Winston Salem, NC) – Stratapult, a leading provider of remote systems management solutions, announces the agreement to provide data communications and systems management for WILCOHESS LLC. WILCOHESS LLC is a 150-store convenience store chain committed to providing quality, value and service to its customers.
Stratapult provides this service as one of its offerings under the RemoteReliefSM umbrella of services. Stratapult connects to the WILCOHESS LLC Wide Area Network (WAN) to transmit data to and from WILCOHESS LLC headquarters in Winston-Salem, NC and each of Wilco's 150 remote locations. Previously a manual task performed by the WILCOHESS LLC staff, Stratapult's service provides workflow automation to manage the systems in each of Wilco's stores. Automated tasks include gas pump display updates, proactive drive space monitoring, promotion updates displayed in store windows, price book updates and back up of back office files. All of this is accomplished under Stratapult's ASP (Application Service Provider) offering using XcelleNet's RemoteWare® software.

Wilco receives 24 x 7 monitoring and support, removing the burden from internal staff, which in turn lowers operating costs and allows staff to focus on core business services. The RemoteWare® infrastructure that Stratapult maintains also allows Wilco future options for data transmissions as it sees the need. New options may include store system inventory information, software updates and software installations.
